THE
BATHROOM
This
bathroom was created in the middle of the building using the
original freestanding bath and with the addition of sumptuous
red velvet curtaining and the stained glass windows is just
the ideal “feature” bathroom.
Also
in the room is a comfortable basket chair and a very unusual
little fireplace.
Just
the place to enjoy a glass of wine and a relaxing soak after
a busy day.
Just
remember - there may be a queue!!

THE
STAIRCASE
This
is thought to have been saved from the previous parish Church
of Peebles which was demolised in 1885 - since this building
was renovated in 1886 this could have some credence.
Beautiful
polish wood and turned finials lend an air of elegance to
the stairwell and on both floors there are large windowsills
with comfortable cushions so that visitors can sit and watch
the ever changing view of the river Tweed and the hills in
the distance
